Crapical Mass Could I have a rant about how shite Critical Mass was last Friday in London. Firstly, the cycle cops are starting to run the thing; (squashing us up into a bunch, getting unnecessarily lairy at nowt in particular, etc.) Secondly, there were no leaflets, no one dressed up, and one shonky sound system that ran out of juice after about ten minutes. The numbers were good, despite the rain, but the atmos needs to get...well, a bit more spunky to build it up for the summer vibes. Fluffy birds in flouro gear, dedicated propaganda producers, boom-box boys on fuckoff trikes, tacky t-shirt krews, roller blade bimbos, natty-city dudes proving that we are not all crusties..... djfood.org : 'Everything Has To End...' "On January 18th 2004, Strictly Kev premiered the original 'Raiding The 20th Century' on XFM's 'The Remix' show in London. It was a 40 minute attempt to catalogue the history of cut up music - be it avant garde tape manipulation, turntable megamixes or bastard pop mash ups. It rapidly spread throughout the web and managed to cause a full scale server crash on boomselection.info when they hosted it due to the volume of net traffic. Download the 40 minute MP3.

Haaretz - Israel News - The army can t close Gaza checkpoints - they were already closed. a report from Gaza that drew criticism from opposing lobbies . A report on the foreign news pages of the Guardian on January 5, headed "Seven children die in crossfire as Israelis target suspected militants", drew complaints from pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian email lobbies. The complaints from the pro-Israeli side came predominantly, but not entirely, from the honestreporting.com lobby. The group says it has 100,000 subscribers. Its attention is directed at any media organisation, or individual journalist, who, in its view, has unfairly, inaccurately or inadequately reported on the Middle East to the detriment of Israel.

Just testing this baby out. Looking for a quote recently and found this website - http://en.thinkexist.com/ Came across this well known Goebels quote... ""If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.""
